Hello M1neTubers…

As you know we have been quite good at finding glitches in Minecraft and our channel was getting a little overrun with them.

I thought it would be a good idea to make a blog post so I can keep them all together.

Minecraft Beta Update 1.7 (1.7.0.3) Plus Glitches

Hello everyone,

Yesterday (30-06-2011) Notch release Minecraft Beta 1.7

Release notes;

+ Added pistons
+ Fire or redstone is now required to trigger TNT
+ Fences can be stacked
+ Added shears
+ Shears can be used to pick up leaf blocks
+ Shears can be used to shear sheep without hurting them
* Sheep no longer drop wool from being punched
– Removed Herobrine

Minecraft Beta Update 1.6 (1.6.6)

Hey guys.. As you know Minecraft has updated to Beta 1.6 (well 1.6.6 with all the extra fixes)

We have made a video series talking about the updates!

The main updates we want to focus on are;

New Features;

+ Added Nether support to multiplayer

+ Added craftable maps

+ Added hatches

+ Added tall grass in some biomes

+ Doors make sound for other players in multiplayer

+ Players stuck in walls will slide towards the nearest gap if there is one

+ Added a new use for bonemeal

Bug Fixes;

* “Fixed” beds in the nether

* Fixed the compass not pointing at the spawn location in multiplayer (I reported this one!)(See The Video)

* Removed Herobrine

* Changed the material of glowstone from “glass” to “stone”. This means you need a pickaxe to get resources from it

* Made glowstone drop more loot

* Made the recipe sizes for creating cloth blocks and glowstone blocks smaller (2×2 instead of 3×3)
